Cheshire Industrial Doors Ltd is an established company based in Runcorn Cheshire with a network of clients nationwide. We install, service, repair and maintain all types of industrial doors, loading bays, high speed doors, automatic doors, gates & barriers.

Job description

Field based but applicants from the Greater Manchester area only.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the lead engineer in the maintenance and repairs of all types of industrial doors.
• Will be required at times to work independently using own initiative
• Installation, maintenance, testing and inspecting industrial doors and loading bay equipment
• Understand safe working practices and health and safety regulations within the work environment
• Understand safety requirements of an industrial door/loading bay installation
• Any other reasonable task that is given to them

Minimum Skills & Experience

• Enthusiastic and eager to learn
• Medically fit to work at height
• Practical and technical skills
• Ability to manage a varied workload
• Problem solving skills
• Strong communicator
• Clean and presentable
• Able to work away from home when required (infrequently)
• Full driver’s license

Desirable but not essential

• Mechanical/electrical experience
• Experience using power tools
• CSCS card

Summary

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Negotiable for the right candidate

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Hours of Work: Basic 40 hour week, 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime as required
